Dan Morgan
November 14, 1952 - March 15, 2018

Daniel L Morgan, 65, of Pekin, passed away at 2:40 PM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his home.

He was born November 14, 1952 in Peoria, IL to Dorothy (Berlett) Kline. He was later adopted by Jack Morgan.


He was preceded in death by: his father Jack; and two sisters Sandra Morgan and Barbara Baker.
He is survived by; his mother Dorothy; two sons, John (April) Morgan of Knob Noster, Mo and Robert (Krishna Fulk) Morgan of Pekin; two daughters, Melissa Morgan of North Pekin, and Lindsay Kinney of Marquette Heights; six grandchildren, Kyle Morgan, Kaleb Morgan, Danica Goldsby, Brittany Goldsby, Ariel Kinney and Bailey Kinney; one brother, John Morgan of Pekin; and one sister, Mary Gay, of Pekin.


Dan had worked as a school bus driver for the Salem, Mo school district and was a former member of the Lenox, Mo Fire Department.


He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a volunteer with the 4H club, coached softball and tee ball in Salem, MO, and coached basketball and baseball at the Pekin Union Mission, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.


A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 18119 State Route 9, Pekin, with Pastor Doug Meaker officiating.
