She is survived by her husband; Anthony Ray Ortega of Edinburg, TX., four children; Heidi (Joe) Sanders, (Peoria, IL), Brandy Mathis, (Creve Couer, IL), Nicolas (Kara) Ortega, (Palm Harbor, FL), Toni (Will) Turpin, (Chelsea AL) and one sister, Nadra O'Keefe of Pekin, IL., ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Harvey Schmick and Edith Goodin and one grandchild, Joshua Ashby.
